Mount Rinjani Trek to Summit 2 days 1 night package start from Sembalun to the crater rim Sembalun, summit and back to Sembalun.

This program is suitable for experienced climbers or you are able to walk up and down for an average of 8.5 hours per day.

Itinerary Mount Rinjani Trek to Summit 2 days 1 night :
Arrival day:Hiking Rinjani
We will pick you up at the airport of Lombok or other place in Lombok island and transfer to the hotel in Senaru. Meet Your Rinjani trekking guide will provide guidance to better prepare you for the journey.

Day 1:Rinjani Trekking Tour
Wake up at 7:00 am and get breakfast. After that we will register at the Rinjani information center Sembalun.
Trekking start from the village of Sembalun around 8:00 am. We start with a gentle climb through open meadow. After about 2 hours of walking, we will reach the post 1 (1300m), and another 40 minutes to Pos 2 (1500m). We will continue to Pos 3 (1800m) and have lunch here.After lunch and rest, we will go to Sembalun crater rim (2639m). It takes 3 hours including a prolonged steep climb. We will camp the night on the crater rim. We can enjoy the view of sunrise and sunset.

Day 2:Trekking Rinjani Summit
We wake up around 2:00 am under the cover of darkness with a hot drink and a light breakfast. We will start heading to the summit of Rinjani at 3:00 am. We start with a moderate trek, followed by a fairly easy but longer trek. Final approach that involves climbing up steep volcanic scree looser.

At 6:00.am We can reach the summit (3726 m) with a beautiful sunrise, and panoramic view of Lombok island, the island of Bali, the island of Sumbawa and Segara Anak Lake.

After that, we will descend into the crater rim Sembalun within 2 hours and have breakfast here. Then will continue to go down to the village Sembalun, which takes 5 hours to reach then we will drop you to your the next destination.

Recommended you to carry during the Mt Rinjani trek program, all Items to be packed in a small backpack no more than 8 kg :

Quick Dry Synthetic Material :
Shirt (short or long sleeve) as the base layer, a good quality fleece jacket/woolen pullover as the middle layer, and a thick windproof jacket as the outer layer. A waterproof and windproof trekking pant is desirable and a pair of woolen gloves, beanie, and scarf for additional cold protection.

Trekking Shoes :
Mid or high-cut shoes are preferred over low-cut ones for better ankle grips and to prevent loose soils from getting into the shoes.

Trekking Poles :
Highly recommended for the summit climb as the terrain towards the summit is very steep and consists of very fine and loose volcanic soil that may cause one to slip down easily.

When you book your trek through Adi Trekker Trekking Company, you will be provided with English Speaking Mountain Guide and local porters and most of the camping essentials such as tent, sleeping bags, mattress, cooking set. etc
However, our mountain guide and porters are in charged only to carry all camping equipments (tents, sleeping bags, mattresses, etc), cooking set and logistics needed during the program (food, water, snacks, fruits, soft drink, etc) they are not in charge to carry your personal belongings.
If you need extra porters to carry your personal stuffs, they are available at extra cost of USD 25 per porter per day. You are advised to travel as light as it could be, the rest of your luggage can be stored at our office. and get them back after the trek.
